The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Enlists Partners in Anti-Diabetes Initiative Aimed at Native American Youth

(September 2007) Rose Communications teamed with Carton Donofrio Partners and Westat, a research firm in Maryland, on a new project for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The CDC enlisted the agency partners to promote the Eagle Book series, an illustrated collection designed to educate young Native Americans about the importance of adopting a healthy diet and active lifestyle. The series was developed to help combat the diabetes epidemic sweeping through the Native American community.
