Even the master Jerry Seinfeld needs practice

A few years ago, a prospect asked us about our client tenure. They wanted to know why our clients stick with us for more than five years on average. We reflected on the feedback we’ve received and distilled the response into three key points:

  • We immerse ourselves in our clients’ industries and brands
  • We bring fresh perspective to our clients’ businesses
  • We care

That last point may read like a platitude, but it’s really a statement about our collective work ethic. Each member of the RoseComm team is genuinely committed to setting the standards extremely high and doing their best work. There’s no resting on our laurels over here. And we care about each other, which enables us to deliver as a team.

Work Hard. Laugh Hard.

Last night we went out as a team to celebrate the holiday season at Gotham Comedy Club. Imagine our surprise when the host announced that Jerry Seinfeld was coming onto the stage to practice material he plans to deliver today on The Tonight Show. People always say that kind of serendipity is the beauty of a night out in New York City — but I’ve been out many times in my 14 years living here and this was a first for me. Before he did his bit, he set his phone to record himself (see photo below). Jerry Seinfeld, after all his years of international fame and success, still shows up to a comedy club in Chelsea to warm up for a national television appearance. And he records himself so he can play it back and perfect his delivery in the coming 24 hours. Clearly, he still cares about the quality of his work and our reaction to his jokes (which were brilliant, by the way).
