RoseComm is a strategic communications firm that helps clients uncover and share their stories with the people who matter most. Whether engaging in direct conversation or enlisting the support of industry influencers – journalists, bloggers and thought leaders – we give our clients a voice.

Our team has experience working with consumer and B2B clients in healthcare, education, technology, DIY, architecture/construction, financial services, media/publishing, marketing to moms, government and non-profit.

Public relations is our heritage. But the work we’re doing goes beyond what most people think of when they hear “public relations.” We’re helping our clients capture their brand stories and we’re driving the development of meaningful, shareable content across traditional and digital channels – all with the goal of creating bottom line value.

We believe an idea is only as powerful as its story.

What's in a name?

Rose Ruth Shub

Rosemary's great grandmother, Rose Ruth Shub, minding her shop in Washington, DC.

When we first launched our woman-owned communications firm more than a decade ago, we felt the name should reflect the people responsible for delivering on our clients’ expectations.

We decided to name the company after our founder’s great grandmother, Rose Ruth Shub, who came to America from Russia more than century ago. Fourteen years old and completely alone, she settled in Bayonne, New Jersey (just a few miles from our current office) and worked in Manhattan’s garment district. She later moved her family to Washington, D.C. where she and her husband opened People’s Market, a kosher delicatessen and store. We felt a name that reflected her courage and determination would feed our own entrepreneurial spirit.

We changed our name from Rose Communications to RoseComm® in 2014 to distinguish our brand from other communications consultancies with similar identities.
